When we hand over to the carrier
We bake Mon-Fri and hand off Mon-Thu — never on a Friday. A parcel collected on a Friday sits in a sorting facility all weekend and arrives stale, so Friday's bake ships the following Monday instead.
How long it takes
3 days at the most, and that is a promise rather than an estimate. It is the reason we ship on the days we do, and the reason we will not move to a slower, cheaper service.
What it costs
One flat rate on every order, whatever is in the box. The figure is still being costed and is not published yet; the exact amount is shown at checkout before you pay, and no order is ever charged shipping you were not shown.
Cakes are not shipped
A finished cake does not survive a carrier network — it arrives leaning, sweating or broken. Cakes are delivered by us or collected from us within 20 miles of Westlake, Florida, handed over by a person and never left on a step.
